Hotfix
A small software update designed to address a specific problem,
produced and release quickly.
Patch
Applied to a formal, large software update that may address several or many software problems,
usually developed over a longer period of time.
Service Pack
A collection of Hotfixes and Patches rolled up to a single, large packages,
bring a system up to latest known, good level all at once.
